Koster Injection Gel 4 is a low viscosity acrylic gel for curtain injection and injection into masonry in order to seal the mortar joints against water ingress. Can be applied in special waterproofing projects, like tunnels, shafts and void injections.

This water based, elastic acrylic gel has a very low starting viscosity after initial mixing. It is capable to bind water during the gelation. The swelling ability after full curing allows a 10% intake of additional water into the gel structure. Due to the low starting viscosity it can be injected into fine substrate pores.

Koster Injection Gel G4 is injected using a 2-component-injection pump with an integrated water flush, e. g. the Koster Acrylic Gel Pump. Before application the delivered concentrate needs to be diluted to approximately the double amount using local tap water.

Key features

  • Low viscosity acrylic gel for curtain injection and injection into masonry
  • Highly elastic
  • Can be injected into fine substrate pores
  • Easy application
  • Seamless application
  • Fast curing
  • Drinking water certification
  • Capable of binding water during gelation
  • Swelling ability after full curing allows a 10% uptake of additional water into the gel structure
  • Suitable for new construction and repair on existing structures
  • Suitable for waterproofing basements
