Stripped, a popular restaurant and bar in Ventnor, a coastal town on the Isle of Wight, has undergone a complete transformation from its previous use as a bank.
Klaus Kuhnke from Stripped commented: “We wanted to work the original wood into the design of the bar but a lot of it was damaged. We decided that we would have to rebuild the bar from scratch in the most economically viable way.”
Taking advice from the builders at South Wight Construction, Klaus agreed that SterlingOSB boards would be the best material to use. Modern, edgy and visually beautiful - and a cheaper alternative to other materials – FSC-certified SterlingOSB has added to the beach-side vibe of the restaurant maintaining the appearance of the original elements of the former bank.
