Easi-Dec's Solar Ladder offers users a safe and practical way of working when installing or maintaining solar panel arrays. It provides 23cm clearance from the roof to the underside of the stile, allowing plenty of work space, and up to 4.6m free span over the roof.
The ladder is simply rolled up the roof on soft rubber wheels and then flipped 90° into position over the ridge. The special roof hook can be fixed to any rung, enabling the ladder to fit any roof with the excess length flying the ridge.
Features and benefits
- Fully stiffened ladder, therefore no deflection to damage panels underneath
- Quickly re-positioned
- Detachable hook for easier transportation
- Soft rubber wheels, so no damage to panels or roof tiles
- Optional workstation available
- Optional trolley available
Special wheels fitted to the roof hook allow the ladder to be traversed along the ridge in either direction without it being taken down, allowing for easier repositioning than with normal roof ladders.
A sliding workstation can provide both an integral tool tray and handy seat. The workstation slides along the rails and can be locked off at any unoccupied rung position, leaving both hands free for maximum safety.
A special trolley can slide along the rails so the PV panels and materials can be safely raised to the required position. A pair of gravity-operated fail-safe hooks ensure complete safety in the event of a slip.
