Patience & Highmore
A total of 750m² of Cop Crag sandstone was supplied to Lilley Construction in 2002 for the Rutland Building in Edinburgh.
The building was a mixed use office development in the West End of the city, which formed a major component in the re-development of the former Wilkie’s department store that had occupied the site for over 100 years.
Architects Patience & Highmore used the stone for a dramatic glazed atrium that connects the building with the site, via its frontage on Rutland Square, one of Edinburgh’s famous Georgian squares.
